The bedroom wasn’t very soundproof, though it should be fine if you’re not especially sensitive to noise. The safe and key card both stopped working, but reception helped quickly. At 10:00 they took away the water and coffee while people were still eating, which didn’t feel very hospitable. It’s a nice, fresh hotel and the breakfast is good.

The breakfast is top notch. Try the freshly cooked eggs and dumplings. The staff were polite, quick, neat, and willing to go the extra mile, though don’t expect miracles since this isn’t a premium hotel. We had a couple of minor bathroom sink issues, and they fixed them right away. The wardrobe doors are noisy and the rooms aren’t soundproof, so anyone needing total silence should look elsewhere. We didn’t have time to check out the spa. One tip: when calling the elevator, check both cars to see which one is coming. And this is Saigon, so a cockroach or two is to be expected, duh.

We booked four nights through Agoda and got a 200,000 VND spa credit. At checkout we learned shampooing wasn’t covered, but neither the receptionist nor the SPA person had told us beforehand, so we paid extra and the credit went unused. They also didn’t refill the minibar the next day, even after we asked. The TV seemed outdated and wouldn’t load most of what we wanted to watch. The room was cozy and thoughtfully equipped, the location was excellent, and breakfast had plenty of options, though it was nearly the same each day. Staff were polite and helpful, and the stay was otherwise relaxing. Still, I didn’t think it was good value for money. They charge a premium for the bare minimum.

I stayed six nights in a room without a window, which was extremely uncomfortable. Before arrival I’d requested a large bed, but was given two small ones instead. When I reminded staff at check-in, they said Agoda bookings didn’t sync with the hotel’s system and I’d have to pay another $27 per day for a large bed. Moving to a room with a window also meant paying extra. Cleanliness fell short, and the gym was poorly equipped, there in name only and below reasonable expectations. The booking page photos didn’t match the actual room and facilities, which felt misleading. The stay wasn’t what had been advertised, and I felt pressured to pay more for basic expectations like a proper bed and a window. This was my first and last stay. Please tell me how you’ll address the complaint. I’d appreciate a response and a fair resolution.
