It’s in a quiet, comfortable neighborhood, with pedestrian areas, supermarkets, and cafes nearby. There’s also a small Vietnamese café right at the entrance, where you can get iced coffee in the morning or lunch. The rooms are cozy and have kitchens, with cooking utensils available if you ask. Hot water is always available, and they clean the rooms regularly. Reception staff speak English or use Google Translate, so we had no communication problems. A really nice place with what you need for a comfortable stay, even for several days or longer.

The staff were kind and attentive, especially the young woman at reception, who really cared about my comfort. I’m sending her wishes for peace and joy. She and the team made me feel warmly welcomed, and I’m sincerely grateful. My last night in Saigon was made special by a beautiful top-floor room with sloping ceilings and a balcony, a real architectural gem that felt like a gift from space itself. Emerald Hotel sits in a quiet, elegant neighborhood among upscale houses, far from the city noise. It was peaceful, the sort of place where you can properly rest. Breakfast was delicious phở bò, a perfect start to the morning. A wonderful room, wonderful people, and a lovely memory to say goodbye to Saigon. 🫶

The service is terrible. There’s often no water during the morning rush, and there’s a bad odor from the filthy sidewalk kitchen in front of the entrance. Rooms booked in advance are still unavailable at the last minute. I wouldn’t recommend it.
