Cozrum Homes - Autumn House

We paid extra for a room with a balcony, but it was so filthy we never used it. The entrance and room were dirty, and during our two weeks there, they cleaned only twice. The floor was so grimy that walking around and then putting a foot on the bed left dirt on it. I know it’s a two-star hotel, but we only expected a reasonably clean room. We bought bug spray after seeing how dirty the room was. After spraying it everywhere and going out for 30 minutes, we came back to find a huge centipede-like bug crawling across the floor, half dead.

Stay away. The rooms are tiny and cramped, there are roaches everywhere, and taxis can’t come in. Everything about it was bad.

The balcony was filthy, covered in cigarette butts and sharp metal pieces like knives, so we couldn’t let our child out there. Inside, the room was smaller than described and dirty, with awful parking-garage lighting. We checked in as a couple with a kid but got just two small towels, and they were in such bad shape they seemed like garbage. There was no cleaning during our five days, and we didn’t see a single staff member. The garage inside the building was very noisy, and there was no hot shower in the evening. Cozrum said it was to save the environment, sure, as if they weren’t just saving their money. Never again. The self check-in instructions were only in Vietnamese and the process was unnecessarily complicated. Nobody replied on WhatsApp, and we had to install Zalo, an app that pretty much nobody uses outside Vietnam.

The room is much smaller than the Agoda description suggests. It’s okay if you’re staying alone, but if you’re traveling with someone else, forget this place.
