Cozrum Homes Rivera Corner

I cancelled for my own peace of mind after a terrible experience. As a solo female traveler, I was worried by reviews saying people had trouble getting in because the place uses self check-in and a door code from the host. I messaged the host repeatedly over several days to avoid that problem, but got not one response. I also tried the posted number on WhatsApp, Telegram, and Viber, but couldn't find it. Extremely not recommended, the host was completely unresponsive.

The rooms are tiny, not properly cleaned, and smell awful. Mine had no window and hardly any space. Finding the place is difficult: it's on a narrow street only motorbikes can use, and the location is poor. Security feels excessive, with password locks on the main gate, entry gate, and room key/card, and you have to message them to get all the codes. It felt like a jail. Don't book or stay there.

This was a terrible experience, and my first time leaving a bad review on GMaps. We couldn't find a clear entrance because it was hidden, and there was no reception or front desk to help. They'd shared a gate code, but badly parked vehicles made it almost impossible to get in. After struggling for 15 minutes, we finally entered, only to find no air conditioning in the waiting area. We ended up booking another hotel and spending extra money. Definitely not recommended. Update: Agoda arranged a refund after I spoke with them.

The location was hard to find, and the room itself was extremely smelly and dirty. I booked two nights based on the online and Agoda photos, but they were not trustworthy. I understand they use online check-in, but nobody told me about it beforehand. The staff member guiding me online spoke unclear English and replied slowly. I ended up staying at another hotel without getting a refund. You want to enjoy your vacation, so don't book at Cozrum Homes. The most ridiculous hotel I've ever booked, and very disappointing.
