We left the room and returned the key that same day without staying overnight. It was a very disappointing experience, so save your money and go somewhere else. The room was extremely dirty, with stained sheets and pillowcases, visible dirt and mold in the bathroom, and grime on the shower head, handles, and window frames. There was also a strong unpleasant smell. The room we got didn't match the online photos at all, and the listing was misleading about the actual condition. It's advertised as a five-star residence hotel, but it felt like an old, neglected, unhygienic budget motel. The website photos are completely misleading. This isn't what you get in reality.

During the night, two staff members came into my room without knocking while I was undressed. There was no doorman to look after luggage, and there was no TV in the room. They also asked for a 200,000 deposit. At check-in, the receptionist insisted on my physical passport even though I said I had a picture of it on my phone. Why require the original if you're only going to take a photo with your phone? Please avoid this place.

At the pool, a man who seemed clearly drunk was harassing and inappropriately touching young girls. He was drinking beer and even spilled some into the water. The atmosphere was deeply uncomfortable, and guests nearby were shocked, but none of the hotel staff stepped in. We reported it to reception right away, expecting action. Instead, the staff showed complete indifference. There was no intervention, follow-up, or effort to make sure other guests felt safe. Allowing someone visibly intoxicated to behave this way in a shared area, especially around young girls, is unacceptable. The lack of professionalism and responsibility was alarming, and it was clear guest safety wasn't a priority. If safety, respect, and basic hospitality matter to you, avoid Sonata Résidence. We deeply regret this experience.

The bed was the dealbreaker. There was a lot of hair on the sheets, and it was clear they had been reused without washing. My booking was for three nights, but I left after the first one. I'd thought about leaving soon after check-in, but couldn't find another nearby hotel. I'd been given a room on the fifth floor after booking a duplex. There was food on the floor attracting ants, and the fridge was wide open with a bad smell, apparently because its cooling had stopped. It looked as though the room hadn't been cleaned for at least a day. I didn't inspect the rest and asked to change rooms. The replacement on the fourth floor was somewhat better, but still unclean. The bathroom had rusty fixtures and bad stains on the walls, mirror, and doors. The shower area was very cramped, and all the marks made it feel unsanitary, though I could tolerate it to a point.
