Dai Nam Boutique Hotel

The location was excellent, close to many of HCM’s major attractions, and the staff were attentive and helpful the whole time. My husband and I had a very pleasant stay. The room was beautifully decorated, in keeping with the boutique hotel’s name, and surprisingly spacious for the two of us. We’d definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We landed at 6 am and were made to wait until 2 pm, even though I asked many times about early check-in. The staff kept saying our assigned room wasn’t free and didn’t seem willing to adjust their roster. Guests had been checking out since 9 am, and there were many available rooms, but they made no effort to make us comfortable. Waiting eight hours is unacceptable. I travel all over the world, and no hotel should treat guests this way.

The staff are lovely, but I came here for a dental procedure and needed to rest. The hotel is being renovated, and the drilling and tapping made that impossible. They kindly offered another room, which I appreciated, but now I face a school where they play music through loudspeakers. There’s no chance of resting during the day here. It only works for groups who are out all day.

We checked out late at night, and Steven greeted us with a huge smile and a warm welcome. He even upgraded our rooms. The breakfast selection was great, and the other staff were very helpful too. We loved our stay at dai nam and can’t wait to return. We’d recommend it to family and friends 🤍🫶
