Express by M Village 46 Thao Dien, a brand of Modern Village Lifestyle

Tony deserves a special mention for answering promptly whenever I had a concern. His help made everything smoother and more enjoyable. I had a wonderful stay at Express by M Village on 46 Thao Dien. It's modern, clean, and in one of Saigon's nicest areas, with a comfortable room, good amenities, and a peaceful, safe feeling overall. I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting Thao Dien.

I've stayed at M Village hotels more than ten times, and this was my second stay at this branch. The first visit was great because the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. This time, though, was completely disappointing. I won't stay at any M Village again after such a frustrating and disrespectful experience. They refused to check me in because I didn't have my physical passport with me, only a clear photo. My passport is with the immigration office while my visa and residence permit are being extended. They wouldn't let me check in, refund me, or even change my booking dates. The front desk staff made it worse. They didn't try to help or find a solution, and while I was upset on the phone with customer service, I could hear them laughing and joking behind me. The group-level staff member I spoke with was just as unhelpful, with no empathy or effort to sort things out. I've stayed at many hotels in Ho Chi Minh City in similar circumstances, and most accepted a passport photo. It's disappointing that a well-known group like M Village doesn't train staff to handle this with more understanding or flexibility, especially when the booking platform doesn't clearly spell out the document requirements for check-in.

The staff at Express by M Village – 46 Thảo Điền were kind and helpful, and they responded quickly whenever I needed something. Check-in was easy and the whole stay felt effortless. The hotel has a modern, clean design with a cozy boutique feel, unlike a typical express hotel. My room was comfortable, well cared for, and had everything I needed.

There's a gym and a shared kitchen, plus a little bar downstairs, and cars can pick up or drop off right by the entrance. My room felt airy and spacious, with furniture and items that still seemed new. The soundproofing could be better, and there were some black marks around the bathroom sink that hadn't been cleaned off completely. Still, it was a very good stay overall.
