Golden Suites 3 Apartments

We booked through Agoda, but when we arrived they said every room was sold and sent us to their sister property, Galaxy Hotel, saying it was nicer. At Galaxy Hotel they tried to charge double. After we pushed back, they kept to the original rate but showed us a room that felt unsafe and was completely unacceptable. We refused it and left for another reasonably priced, very nice hotel. Avoid Golden Sun 3. The way this was handled felt like a scam and was unethical. Reply: They did confirm with us, but still tried to justify calling the second place “more premium.” It was dark, dingy, and extremely uncomfortable, felt unsanitary, and looked nothing like the photos for the hotel we booked. They can't offer something unacceptable and pass it off as a quality alternative. The second hotel was disgusting and not worth even the original agreed price. These unprofessional scam operators have no customer service and will try to charge extra to put you in an unacceptable room. You're better off staying somewhere else.
