HAD Apartment - Nguyen Dinh Chinh

This was my second stay at the apartment, and I'm looking forward to returning. The staff were friendly as always, and the place was clean. Getting groceries was easy because the area is convenient. Check-in was quick, and the security team were very helpful. Cheers!

This was the worst service apartment I've lived in. The price was OK, but not especially competitive, and the room and equipment were quite old. Management needs to improve a lot and pay closer attention to what residents need. They asked me to move to a different room from the one I'd booked because management had made the wrong booking. Cleaning wasn't consistently scheduled, and sometimes they lost track and didn't clean at all. Laundry was sometimes forgotten by the cleaner, and clothes went missing and never came back. The WiFi was unreliable, and hot water was too: sometimes there was only cold water. The kitchen had no gas, and the kitchenware wasn't clean.

The guards and cleaners are friendly, and the place is pretty alright. But they charge tourists 4,100 VND per kW for electricity. A usual rate is 2,800-3,300 VND per kW, and they have you sign for the higher price when you don't know the difference.

This used to be a five-star place a few years back, which makes this hard to write. Since the owner moved overseas and brought in a management company, the building has gone downhill. The company has been greedy, dishonest, incompetent, and rude. In the past year there have been several fiascos: a water tank burst after tenants had warned about it for three years, the elevator caught fire, the fire alarm has been broken for 18 months and still isn't fixed, and half the hallway lights don't work. It's overpriced, falling apart, and management offers no support. I'd give it zero stars if I could.
