Ho Sen Hotel

The room was spacious, though the furniture was old and the place felt dated. Staff were just average, and breakfast was pretty disappointing for the room rate. The hotel is in a quiet area, well placed near the waterbus station and within walking distance of most of central HCMC.

I stayed for three nights in a spotless room. They changed my towels daily and were generous with toiletries, and the staff were courteous and helpful whenever I needed something. Breakfast was pretty good, and having a luggage scale was a nice plus. The bed squeaked a little, though, and the hallways were narrow. What really made me uncomfortable was the black mirror surrounding the bathroom. I kept thinking there might be a hidden camera. I asked to change rooms, but they said all the rooms were the same and that they were fully booked. I had to put up with those anxious nights. I may not return because of all those mirrors on the walls.

The location is good, with Ben thaì market nearby and Apocalypse Bar right next door. There are also many massage parlours close by. The room didn't feel very luxurious, but for this price it was better than other options.

This is an economy stay and not suitable for a family. The sheets weren't clean, the bathtub was stained, and the place felt a bit shady. I didn't enjoy staying here.
