I left after one night even though I had planned to stay for three days. The ViVu Hotel, about 300 meters away, was cheaper, cleaner, and had friendlier staff. The girl working the morning shift was pleasant and showed me a nice room on level 3 when I came to look around. I had booked six hours ahead, but when I arrived at 9pm, the boy on the evening shift put me in a dirty room on level 2 instead. When I complained, he gave me an angry look, said to wait while he checked, then returned with a blanket and insisted the room was fine. He looked angry again as he left. Maybe I was mistaken about how dirty the room was, but staff shouldn't treat guests that way. The two receptionists had very different attitudes. The room quality was poor, and I was really disappointed with the receptionist's behavior. If you're considering this hotel, think carefully. I'm Vietnamese, so I know this hotel isn't for you.

Cockroaches and ants were all over the place. While I was inside my room, a man who didn't appear to be a cleaner used a key card to open the door. Later, while I was out, $300 disappeared from my wallet in the room. If that could be taken, my computer or passport could have been too. The fridge cord was frayed and blew a fuse, a serious electrocution risk. And if you don't speak Vietnamese, expect to rely on Google Translate on your phone while dealing with dangerous, criminal situations.

The room was clean, and the location was handy for the airport. The air conditioner was very old and didn't cool the room.
