IconSphere Hotel

Duy was especially kind and kept offering help after I injured my foot before we arrived. The rest of the staff were awesome too. We tried this hotel for the first time and absolutely loved it. The location is good, and the new room was large, clean, and modern, with a huge bathroom. We'll definitely come back someday.

We stayed five nights at IconSphere on our family's first trip to Vietnam. The location was convenient, and we booked a Signature Twin Room with the beds joined into one huge Super King. There are four rooms per floor. Our room was clean, comfortable, and mostly quiet, though faint music from the club next door was audible but bearable. I'm a very light sleeper. My son loved the projector, high tech toilet, and bathtub. The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially Eric, a tall, handsome man. A few details could be better. The pool is about 1.2m deep but needs depth markings. The projector is nice, though its interface is laggy and unresponsive by today's standards. More table space, perhaps another bedside table, would help. The blinds let in too much light, so better blackout would be welcome. Hooks in the toilet or more hangers would be useful, and the breakfast milk should be kept colder. Even with those suggestions, the hotel surpassed our expectations. We'd still definitely return. The location was just right, about a 10-minute walk in every direction to sightseeing spots, cafe apartments, ben thanh market, and nightlife for anyone interested. On arrival by Grab, the guys hurried over to take my suitcase. I was welcomed with a drink and ginger jam made from dried ginger, which tasted great. All drinks were complimentary, and fruit was brought to my room that evening. Breakfast was included too, and there's a rooftop pool. It was my first time in Vietnam, and I'm really glad I picked this hotel. Everyone was lovely, and my room was bright, spacious, and clean. I'd definitely stay again.

I found the hotel on Expedia by chance and got the last room. It was the cleanest, most modern place I've stayed, and exceeded my expectations. It reminded me a lot of Park MGM in Las Vegas. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and Eric was a big help. Our first Grab driver got upset when he saw our luggage, so Eric called another driver and made sure we got picked up and reached the airport on time.
