The reception team and other staff were awesome, and they offered WhatsApp support if we needed anything right away. The place is inside Kapan town, which suits people looking for that kind of bar scene. It’s spread across two buildings and feels old. The rooms are a pretty good size, though dated, and the air con only cools a little. I didn’t find it cold enough. The gym wasn’t as impressive as I expected, but it was good enough, even though some equipment wasn’t in the best condition.

The hotel is really affordable, and I’ve stayed here on both of my visits to Ho Chi Minh City. I’ll be back in May. It’s in a nice spot called little Japan Or Tokyo, with a great atmosphere. The rooms and facilities were good, the staff were lovely, and the gym is very big. Sally at the front desk is the best person you’ll ever meet.

The gym stood out most to me, it’s the biggest and best-equipped hotel gym I’ve seen, even compared with ones in North America. Laundry is charged by the kilogram, so it’s much cheaper than hotels that charge per item. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were comfortable and had AC. It’s right in the city centre, within walking distance of lots of restaurants and attractions. I’d definitely book again when I’m in Saigon.

The inexpensive Japanese restaurants nearby are delicious, which is a nice counterpoint to the massage parlours that can make the area feel uncomfortable at night. The location is very central, and the staff are consistently smiley and friendly. This place is a gem, especially if you appreciate a good gym. It might be the best one you’ve seen in a hotel.
