Cozy Hotel - 140 Cong Quynh

There’s local street food everywhere, from the morning until late at night. The location is great, the room is basic, and the front desk team are friendly.

The bed was clean, the art was nice, street noise was minimal, and the staff were nice enough. Still, this was my least favourite hotel on our three week tour, even though we paid the most per night for it. Housekeeping was a mess. I left the sign on the door, but they skipped cleaning the first day and told me that night I needed to ask. On day two, I was told the maid was off. We finally got the room cleaned on day three. The window faced the next building’s wall, there was no coffee or tea, and the few outlets were inconveniently placed. The bathroom had no separate shower, so it stayed wet, especially since we often showered more than once a day. The internet was mediocre at best, and we could hear other guests clearly in the middle of the night.

I only meant to stay a couple of nights, but ended up spending about two weeks here because I liked how spacious and clean it was. The location is perfect, right by the start of the popular walking street. It’s not loud, and I always slept comfortably.
