The location is excellent, close to the market, food stalls, coffee shops, and restaurants. Staff were friendly, helpful, and fixed issues when they came up. But the first night was a mess: I checked in at 1 AM after booking and paying for a full week, and there was no room for me. They said the whole floor had an electricity problem, put me in another hotel for one night, and told me to return the next day. I’d rate the location 5/5, staff 4/5, and quality 2/5. The room is small, the shower water swings between too hot and too cold and is hard to adjust, and there are no outlets by the bed, which makes charging a phone or boiling water for coffee inconvenient. Some rooms are small or noisy, the AC can work poorly and be dirty, and there can be a moldy smell. Rooms get 2/5 from me. I’m unsure whether I’d return. Maybe, if they could offer me a good room, but that seems rare.

The room was smelly, the bed old and sagging, and there was mold in the bathroom. I couldn’t sleep at all. What I got also wasn’t the room size I’d booked, and the condition was very different from the listing. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The staff were good, and the location is ideal for the market and food vendors. The room, toilet, bed, and manual key door lock are old, but comfortable enough. At night, the reception area needs to look more presentable, without people lying on the couch. I’d come back.

I booked a day at the hotel through agoda and set check-in for 6-7am because my flight landed early. I had a local person call to confirm that time, and they said it was fine. After landing, I went to the hotel, but they had no room available.
