King Star Central Hotel should be shown across Cao Ba Quat street, not at its current location, which belongs to Southern Power Corporation (EVN SPC).

The staff were cheerful, and a morning walk in the park was nice. The room itself was a shock in daylight: very dated facilities, a steel bed, and a broken shower. Even by Vietnam standards, that feels unacceptable for around 50,000 KRW. Arriving at night, it had seemed merely a bit old.

At $50 USD, breakfast is included, and the District 1 location is handy. The mini-mart on site is useful, though drinks and food at the hotel cost a lot.

The price and location work for me, but the construction of an apartment complex right next door is ongoing. Club noise also makes the area quite loud at night.

For a business trip, it works fine for a quick rest before heading out.
