KQ Hostel

The staff made my stay at KQ Hostel feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. They were warm, attentive, and ready to help. I had a wonderful time there and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable stay. I’d love to return.

There’s a kitchen with a gas stove, parking, a 24-hour receptionist, a little library, and an outdoor spot to relax. One receptionist even drove a guest back to the city center after he lost his phone there, which was really helpful. For the price and location, it’s hard to ask for more. The booking price is better than paying directly, as seems to be the case in many places. The hotel is clean and well located for what it costs. The rooms are all private, with no dorms or bunk beds, and the decor looks surprisingly upscale for a place called a hostel.

The owner is kind and clearly wants guests to have a good stay, and she keeps working to improve the place. Staff are friendly and check in to see if you need anything. It’s tucked away somewhere quiet and safe, with very little traffic noise, but local food and coffee spots are easy to reach. I’d come back on my next visit and bring more friends. The owner also talked about offering spa services and great customer service.

District 9 was convenient for me. Prices for accommodation in Vietnam are so low that I don’t expect the same standard I would in the UK.
