I really wanted to give a higher rating, but my stay was unfortunate. The facility felt like a 4.5-star hotel, though my experience was closer to three stars. I was first given a very narrow ground-floor room with lots of mosquitoes and some noise. The staff were helpful and moved me to the top suite after I complained, and that room was excellent. Then the elevator broke for the rest of my stay, so I had to climb eight floors every time. I’m not sure why there were so many mosquitoes in the building, but I had to buy my own plug-in repellent. I’d suggest the manager put one in each room and in the stairwell and hallways. Hooks by the showers would help too, since it’s inconvenient without somewhere to hang a towel. Most of the rooms are quite nice, and it’s good value in a good location, so I’ll probably stay again.

The email support is fast, check-in and check-out are quick, and the area is quiet despite being close to District 1. But the mosquitoes were everywhere in the hotel, in the rooms and common areas. Every day I killed two or three in my room, and they kept coming. They were even flying around while I waited for the lift. I’m surprised no one else mentioned it in reviews; maybe people are used to mosquitoes in hotels here. The cable TV channels didn’t work, though YouTube was available. Doors make a very noticeable thud throughout the hotel when people close them. The shower pressure was weak, and my room didn’t have a soap dispenser.

The room smelled like smoke, and there were a lot of mosquitoes. Still, it was very clean and the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam so far. I’m very picky.

The new rooms are stylish and elegant, with four-star standards. It’s great value for money, and the location is prime, just a short walk from Hàm Nghi, Nguyễn Huệ and Bến Nhà Rồng.

I stayed for four days and everything was perfect. The location is great, around a 10-15-minute walk to District 1. The bed was cozy, and there was a free washing machine, a jacuzzi, a smart TV and powerful air conditioning. Highly recommend it. The nem nuong restaurant next to the hotel is perfect too.
