Queen Central Hotel 2

I’ve booked this hotel three times. On the first stay, I had a room on the 7th floor and couldn’t sleep because of noise from the bar on the 8th. I did have a cocktail there on the last day, and it has a nice view of Vincom Dong Khoi and other places. The wifi was nearly unusable, so I had to use mobile data. On stays two and three, I was on the 3rd floor, where service was better, wifi was okay, and I could sleep. If you book here, try to avoid the 7th floor, and maybe the 6th, because of the noise and poor wifi.

Japanese people, don't book here. Imitation fraud. Foreigners, be careful with the booking site photos. The room we got didn’t match them, and they wouldn’t allow a cancellation. They put me in a lower-grade room and asked me to pay the difference for an upper-grade one, and there were other problems too. This was the worst-managed place I’ve ever booked. The rooms and staff aren’t ready to host foreign guests. For a short stay in the city, find somewhere else.

The price is rock bottom and the location is great. My bed was really clean and super comfortable, and the room on an upper floor was surprisingly quiet despite the busy street. The desk staff were helpful, and there were no strange smells in my room. Just keep in mind this is a very cheap budget hotel, not a place for fancy facilities. The bathroom fixtures all sort of worked, but not very well. The sink was cracked and kind of filthy, the TV only kind of worked, and the kitchenette sink was a bit dodgy. They didn’t provide bottled drinking water. It was never meant to be a luxury apartment, but the place could use repairs and a refurbishing.

There were lots of tiny bugs that looked like spiders, and the children were scared of them. The place was very unclean, and we couldn’t stay. They wouldn’t clean the room or give a refund. Never stay there. Please look for another hotel with good reviews.
