Don't stay here. I booked through Booking and arrived at 6 pm, four hours after check-in was supposed to start, but my room still wasn't ready. They wanted me to wait another two hours. After I complained, they put us in a 'better' room, then said we'd have to move at noon the next day. We explained we couldn't get back from our tour by then, so they were meant to move us to another room. When we returned at 2:30 pm, that room wasn't ready either. We waited another 20 minutes while they worked out where to put us. The floor they assigned had no elevator access. The shower had weak water pressure, the hot water was also a problem, and the mattress was really bad. Staff seemed angry the whole time. It felt like they just wanted us in a 'better room' so we'd spend more money with them. The experience was disappointing. Booking calls this a three-star hotel. It's not even a one-star, let alone three.

Great location in a prime tourist area. The Superior Delux room was an okay size for the spot. Staff were very friendly. The room was basic but functional and clean, with good air conditioning, shower, and WiFi. The bed was hard.

Ben Thanh Market and plenty of places to eat are just a short walk away, which made the location really convenient. The hotel is a little dated, but it was clean enough. I had room 402, which has no window. Noise from the shower next door carries quite clearly, so light sleepers may want to steer clear.

There were cockroaches in the room I first booked for two, so I moved straight to a family room, which was more livable. Even so, I wouldn't stay here again.

Staff were polite and helpful, and the price seemed fair for the location. Vilion Boutique Hotel Ben Thanh is handy for getting around, with Ben Thanh Market, restaurants, and tourist spots close by. My room was clean and cozy, though a bit humid. I'd suggest getting one with a window for more daylight and fresh air.
