The hotel is right in the middle of Ben Thanh Market, with several convenience stores nearby, so getting around and shopping was easy. Breakfast had limited choices but was decent. They provided toiletries except body foam, and I think the shampoo was a 2-in-1. I booked at a deal price and was initially given two different rooms. After I wrote to the hotel, they said they could offer a premier deluxe at that price. At check-in the room wasn't ready because some electrical work needed fixing. The staff offered a free minibar and late checkout to make up for it, though the repair was done in five minutes. My room had no window, but once I turned on the AC it no longer felt claustrophobic. Definitely recommend this hotel, despite what some other reviews said.

Our experience with this hotel in Vietnam was awful and hurtful. I booked two rooms through Agoda and arrived at 7:00 a.m. to check in and leave our luggage. No one clearly explained that there was a problem, and we were left waiting for seven hours. I have a leg injury and use a cane. After all that painful waiting, they told us they couldn't accommodate us. When I asked why they hadn't said so in the morning, the receptionist replied, “I was busy,” and “it is not my issue.” This was misleading and inhumane, unprofessional treatment, especially toward an injured guest traveling with children.

The breakfast was good, the service friendly, and the hotel is very central. But it isn't a 3-star hotel as Google says, the entrance shows 2 stars. Where to start with the cons? Just look at the pictures. The worst part was how bad the insect problem was, including on the bed and night tables. See the sink photo. We checked out after one day.

There was mould all over the room, bugs crawling on the walls, and no ventilation. The staff were dismissive. There wasn't any cutlery in the room, so I asked for a fork and was told no. Most things I asked the staff for got a no. I had such an unhappy stay. Please avoid this place, there are many better and cheaper options nearby.

The breakfast was terrible, the worst I've had in four years in Vietnam. There was literally nothing to eat, even though it was still well within breakfast time, and the worker was unfriendly. I showed reception photos, but all they did was say sorry and nothing more. Please be warned, don't book this hotel near Ben Thanh market. It's a rip-off and unacceptable. When we checked in, the staff were friendly, the room was clean, the AC worked, and we had hot water.
