Nhat Ha L'Opera Hotel

We were right in the city center, close to the main sights, cafes, and restaurants, which made the location ideal. After busy days, the rooftop pool was a great place to unwind with lovely views over the city. Breakfast had plenty of choice and started at 5:30 a.m., handy for an early tour or flight. The staff were always welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. I spent a few nights here and was very happy with the stay. I’d definitely come back.

The staff were especially thoughtful about giving us privacy. They only entered to clean when we put out the room service sign, and with the Do Not Disturb sign up, they left us alone. If we needed something while that sign was out, the front desk called instead of ringing the bell, and said someone was waiting at the door. That made the stay at Nhat Ha L’Opera Hotel feel comfortable and respectful. We also really liked the food. There were lots of choices at the buffet, and everything we tried was delicious. Room service was good too, and the Bahn Mi from the sky bar with our complimentary beer was heavenly. Our room was spacious and clean, with a great view over the city and river. The bed was soft, the free minibar was restocked daily, and the water pressure and heater worked perfectly even on the 11th floor. I’d asked for a high floor, and they gave us one. When we arrived at noon, the room was already ready, so we could check in two hours before the usual 2 p.m. time. The staff greeted us with fresh dragonfruit juice and were very accommodating. The hotel was close to almost everything we planned to see, and the area around it was peaceful and easy to get around. After reading so many reviews before booking, I was glad Nhat Ha L’Opera Hotel met my expectations. It made our trip to Vietnam more memorable, and I highly recommend it.

The pho at breakfast was generous and became something I looked forward to each day. The hotel itself is clean and quiet, and the staff are humble, polite, and ready to help. It’s in a great spot in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. I was also surprised by how much I enjoyed Ho Chi Minh City, it went well beyond what I expected. If I return, I’ll stay here again.

I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet had enough to choose from, and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The hotel is fairly central, well maintained, and the service staff were polite and helpful.
