Nhat Van 1 Hotel

This feels like a real Vietnamese neighborhood in the heart of Saigon, with authentic street food nearby and none of the touristy feel of other districts. The staff made me feel safe, greeted me three times a day, carried my luggage to my room, and even invited me for a drink. There's also a great, inexpensive dry cleaner right next door. The hotel isn't luxurious, but it has a lovely feel, and at this price four people can sleep comfortably. For travelers with good vibes or a hippie vibe, it's a perfect fit if you want a different experience.

The pictures on Booking.com looked great, but arriving was a shock. The room was dirty and moldy, the sheets were old and torn, and mosquitoes came out of the wardrobe door. It looked abandoned, but guests were still being put there. The service was awful, with no enthusiasm or interest. I was so frightened that I accepted the loss and left after about an hour for another hotel nearby. They saw how upset I was but didn't ask why I was checking out or say anything. They only wanted payment and seemed not to care about the customer experience. If I could give a negative rating, I would.

Everything was great. The rooms were clean and affordable, and the service was fast and efficient. I'll definitely return next time! 😍
