We'd read the Maps reviews and were braced for a bad stay, but it turned out pretty decent. Room 4A was bright and spacious, with a balcony, hot water, a properly working IC, a hair dryer, a large clean and comfortable bed, and a great view. I can't speak for the other rooms. We booked through Agoda for 150k VND per night. When I asked for a room with a window looking outside, since many Vietnamese hotel rooms either have no window or look onto a wall, they replied politely and gave us one with even better facilities than just the window. Agoda's customer service was nice too. There were a few cleanliness issues, but as someone who travels for long periods, I didn't find them too concerning. We've stayed at quite a few hotels in Saigon, and this is one we'd return to. Our experience was good.

For $10 a night in D1, the place is totally fine. The room was clean, the bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The shower water was warm at best. Check-in was a bit of a mess because the front door lock was broken, but the lady worked it out after a few minutes. Her manner wasn't especially friendly, just like a regular Viet auntie. I don't know what more you could expect at that price, and it's really not as bad as people say.

I was there for 30 days, and every single day brought problems. There were no clean towels or bed sheets, no internet, a broken toilet seat, no running bathroom water, and the fridge and TV didn't work. The walls, including in the bathroom, had mould, and the paint was peeling. The electric gate also didn't work properly. This hotel should be closed immediately for health reasons. The receptionist only talked on WA and never replied. I asked for my money back, but she wouldn't do it. WA reception has no brains. This applied to all the rooms on all floors. Worst reception, and the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Don't go there.

The location is acceptable, but I can't accept the quality of this room. The wall, fan, and AC look really scary.

I've stayed in cheaper places, but this was the worst hotel of my life. It was dirty, depressing, and poorly lit, and didn't look like the photos at all. I picked it for its location on Agoda, then found out on check-in day that the actual location wasn't related to what was listed. The room was hotter than outdoors because the AC barely worked, so it was boiling the whole time. The bathroom sink didn't work either. I booked three nights but left after one and got no refund. There was also a guy shouting at the top of his lungs because they'd sold him a room with a balcony and didn't provide one.
