The Blue Hotel

The Blue Hotel is very close to Ho Chi Minh City Airport, which was handy with our night booking and would suit a short stay, flight delay, or layover. We were generally comfortable, and the hotel and room were clean overall. The bathroom in our room hadn’t been cleaned properly, though, and there was no drinking water provided, which guests would usually expect. Apart from those issues, the stay was okay. Better bathroom cleaning and basic things like drinking water would improve it.

The location was okay, near the airport. I was in room no.302, where the air conditioner wasn’t working, so I had to use another fan. I’d noted when booking that we had an infant, but the room smelled strongly of smoke. The morning receptionist didn’t seem happy at all, while the night receptionist was kind and very helpful.

Getting around Vietnam has felt easier with this hotel as my base. The reception team were kind and easy to approach, and the language gap never became a problem. It really showed me that English isn't the only way people connect. A special thanks to Le, who works so hard to keep our room clean. I'm so grateful to everyone here, and I'll be back soon.

If you're vacationing at THE BLUE HOTEL, you're close to the airport. The staff are very kind, especially the cleaner, who is both lovely and careful about keeping things clean. They don't speak much English, but they find ways to communicate. I was really happy with the service.
