I had planned to stay during an eight-hour transit, checking in at midnight, and tried to put up with the condition of the room. When I pulled back the covers, the sheets were visibly dirty, with hair and dirt on them, as if someone had already slept there. After I switched off the lights, huge cockroaches came out. Then drunk, angry men were fighting in the hall and pounding on my door, so I packed up and checked out at midnight to find another hotel. I was promised a refund, but now the hotel isn't answering my messages. The place felt filthy and unsafe, and I would not book it. There were also loud drunk men at my door, along with the cockroaches and soiled bedding.

The bed was comfortable, the shower got hot, and the fridge worked, but the room needed a much more thorough clean. The door handle was gross, and there were boogers left on the wall by other guests. The TV didn't work. Wi-Fi was good, and there are lots of vegan restaurants nearby. It's also close to the airport. The place could have been better, or at least cleaner.

The concierge was helpful, which was the one bright spot. We had booked a Deluxe Suite with Balcony through booking.com, but the receptionist said only regular rooms were available. We cancelled and rebooked regular rooms, then she asked us for even more money for the conventional room. It felt like she had messed up the booking and was trying to get extra money from us. The room was dirty, and the toilet lights didn't work.
