Agoda failed to handle my case and refused to refund me. I no longer trust the platform at all. They keep selling places that don’t meet proper world-standard accommodation, including windowless, poorly ventilated rooms with only a mattress on the floor and no private bathroom or toilet. This room had never been properly inspected, verified, or approved by Agoda. When I complained, they took no responsibility, hid behind “terms and conditions,” and continued selling the same uninhabitable place. That’s misleading, irresponsible, and unacceptable for a global booking platform.

It was good.

Really bad.

The employees were nice, but that was about the only positive. The place seemed badly maintained, with dust and dirt everywhere, a foul smell in the room like pipes were leaking or something, and cockroaches and other bugs as company. It looked nothing like the photos and felt overpriced. The owner could use some extra help and guidance with “managing hotels.” I’m never coming back.
