A mini library lets you trade books if you have some, and there are two big balconies with outdoor seating, a nice way to spend time besides staying in bed. Downstairs, the restaurant serves crepes and waffles, plus local craft beers, so you don’t have to go elsewhere for those. The receptionists were always graceful and helpful, and they even gave us free maps and vouchers for exploring the city. An easy, affordable place for short stays, with good comfort.

The only private room cost 350000 VND, about 15 USD. It had no windows and poor soundproofing. It was cheap, but the hostel could use some work. The mattress was harder than usual, and breakfast wasn’t included. The breakfast you can buy is very expensive, as are the drinks at the bar downstairs. The cheapest beer is 80K. The receptionist spoke very good English. The street was the dirtiest I saw in three weeks in Vietnam.

The hostel has a nice atmosphere, and the reception staff were really nice and spoke adequate English. The dorm with a balcony is its standout feature. It’s right in the main market, with local food available everywhere.

A simple, nice place in Saigon with clean linen and air conditioning. There’s a crepe restaurant downstairs, and you’re right by the famous backpacker street without having to deal with its noise. Really cool.
