Two floors of the hotel caught fire, and there were no warnings from the staff or emergency alerts. The electricity simply went off, and we had no idea what was happening. There was no immediate response. After the first fire was put out, staff turned the breaker back on, which caused another fire on an upper floor. They didn't switch it off again. No firefighters came. The police offered minimal help and left right after the first incident without even confirming the fire was out. Then the balcony on the upper floor caught fire, with no sirens or anything. Is this how emergencies are handled in Saigon? I was also surprised that nobody really helped. The neighboring businesses carried on as if it were an ordinary day. Maybe they thought it wasn't life-threatening and the fire was under control, but there was no sense of urgency.

The price was very reasonable, and the rooms were a decent size and really neat. The washroom was small but very good, with a bathtub. The streets around the place are nice and lively.

Everything was close, so I didn't need to travel far to get to the tourist spots. The rooms were cheap and decent, and the location right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh was extremely unique. I absolutely loved it.

The location beside all the attractions was perfect. The music was loud, as other reviews said, but usually died down around 11pm. For the price I thought it was a great stay, and I can't complain. The reviews seem pretty unfair to me.

The room was clean, but the shower didn't work properly and there were several spots on the bathtub. The AC wasn't cool, and the front desk area had an unpleasant smell.
