I wouldn’t stay here again. My room had no window and smelled of smoke; when I asked for a room with a window, I was told none were available. The worst part came when I was leaving. They held onto my passport and wouldn’t let me go for several minutes. After I pressed them for an explanation, a young woman said there was a note on my account about a room issue. They eventually accused me of taking the hair dryer, even though it was in the bathroom where you’d expect to find it. I was furious at being treated like a thief and having my passport withheld. Having a note about this before checkout seemed dubious and deceptive to me. I had no reason to take anything and demanded my passport back. I filed a complaint with the booking site, and the hotel’s response was inaccurate and full of lies. Don’t stay here.

There’s plenty of tasty, affordable food around here, plus nearby mini marts like 711 and Circle K for snacks. Most areas are about 15 minutes away. The hotel is in the China Town area, with room prices across a range of budgets. I found it clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe, and the hospitality was really good. Sending positive vibrations to everyone at Sao Mai Hotel, the staff and owners. 👍🏽🙏🕉🤙🏽

There are lots of Chinese and Vietnamese food shops, street food, and markets close by. The room was affordable, clean, and quiet, and the owner was helpful and accommodating.

The dorm cost 150k for two people. The bathroom was good enough, and the AC ran 24/7. Wi-Fi wasn’t good. You can dry clothes on the rooftop.
