For the price, the accommodation was very affordable, and both the room and bedding were clean. I stayed in a ground-floor room with a loft bed. Getting up there meant climbing an angled metal ladder, which got annoying. There was no washer in my room, and no terrace or patio either. It did have a kitchen with pots, pans, and a rice cooker. No utensils, though, but I didn't cook. The alley seemed to be a motorcycle shortcut, so there was some traffic noise. Earplugs blocked it out. Pho shops were just around the corner, and the location was okay. I booked through Agoda. The host sent clear check-in instructions and a phone number for the "house keeper," who let me through the locked gate. Once I paid in person, I got a keychain with the electronic gate key and room key. I had no problems during my stay, so I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews.
