The one thing going for this hotel is its location by Opera House. Otherwise, it felt wildly overpriced, with little service or in the way of amenities. The street noise was deafening. There’s no public space, just a few polite young women letting guests in and out of the entrance, with little else in the way of service. The room is relatively small, and the bathroom has no doors, so anyone you’re with can see and hear you on the toilet. The toilet “room” itself is so cramped it’s hard to get in and out. Unless you’re on the top floor, the balcony is only useful for smoking, if that’s something you do. I asked for two coffee packets since there were two of us, but only one was provided each day. On the first day I asked if they had milk or powdered creamer. The polite young woman said no and suggested I buy some at the convenience mart. Gee, I hadn’t thought of that! This hotel is under-serviced and overpriced. There are many great hotels in HCMC, so I’d choose one of those instead.

Right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the hotel is convenient for getting around. The room felt just the right size, thoughtfully laid out, comfortable and not cramped. I liked the modern but relaxing atmosphere, which makes it feel like a city escape. The signature scent is especially pleasant and welcoming from the moment you walk in. A stylish, cozy stay with lovely attention to detail, highly recommended.

We had a comfortable room, especially the bedding, and a great view from room 903. The staff were really nice, too. There’s no breakfast, pool, or gym, but plenty of places to eat within walking distance. It’s a lovely little boutique hotel in the middle of Ho Chi Minh City, close to spots like the Opera House, Ho Chi Minh City Hall, Book Street, and the Saigon Central Post Office. A good base for exploring.

Rosie was especially kind and professional, and her help made a stressful booking problem much easier to handle. My travel plans changed unexpectedly, and I couldn’t cancel or amend the reservation I’d made through Agoda. I contacted both Agoda and the hotel, and I understood the hotel had limited options because I’d booked through a third party. Even so, the team looked into alternatives and offered to transfer my booking to Danang since that’s where I’d be travelling. I really appreciated that flexibility and care. Thank you to the whole team, and I hope to stay with you in the future.
