The city view was lovely, though getting to the apartment was a hassle. There’s no sign outside, and our Uber drivers had trouble finding it; we weren’t picked up twice. I was disappointed with the room. We booked a four-bed dorm through Hostelworld, and it was clearly the same apartment as in the photos, but it looked a lot shabbier in person. The staff were really friendly, and the room was mostly clean, though there were quite a few things left behind by previous guests. The shared bathroom setup was awkward. One shower and toilet serve 8-10 people. There’s another bathroom attached to the larger dorm, but you have to walk through someone else’s room to use it, which felt like an invasion of privacy. The shower and toilet are together behind one locked door, so when one is occupied, neither is available. Breakfast was a nice idea, with banh-mis on the first day and sticky rice with a fried egg the next. But it’s put out at 7am and stays there until it’s gone. Since I didn’t get up until 8:30 or later, mine was cold, which made for a very mediocre egg sandwich or fried rice.

It’s a little walk from the backpacker area, about 15 minutes, but I thought this was a great hostel. They’re on the 10th/12th floor of a big building. The rooms and bathrooms were tidy and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s free breakfast, fast wifi, hot showers with good pressure, printing, DIY laundry, and books to read. They can also arrange tours and tickets. If you have a motorbike, they cover parking while you stay, 7000d per bike per day. Would definitely recommend it.

Breakfast is included, and the staff are lovely. We spent three nights here and really enjoyed the amazing view from the 12th floor of copac square. It’s a cozy, quiet hostel. A bit away from the action, but the walk was fine. Highly recommend.

The location is about a 20-minute walk from the city center. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and had lockers. You can do laundry there, and the staff are really friendly. Nice view, a good price, and a small but tasty breakfast in the morning with free coffee and tea.

Our double room was on the 18th floor, with wonderful views right from the bed. Reception is on the 12th floor. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was very clean, though some of the equipment was a bit worn. Best hostel in Saigon that I’ve visited.
