The location is great, with everything nearby, but the apartment was tiny and very dirty, nothing like the photos. One room had no windows and felt like a box. The carpet looked unwashed, there were insects on the bed, and the floor was filthy. There was nothing to clean with, so we even had to buy a sponge because the kitchen one was so dirty. I just hope they hadn't used it to clean the toilet. We had to buy everything, including cooking pots. The hosts seemed very greedy. They wouldn't provide a clean sponge, arrange proper cleaning, or even leave water for guests arriving from the airport. The host “Gabriel” also tried to charge us $170 for early check-in. He claimed he didn't know how to calculate dong and dollars, but when I met him, he didn't seem like someone who couldn't do math. Don't book here, especially with him.

We had no choice but to find somewhere else to stay. The janitor at reception checked our Booking.com reservation and said we had to pay another $250 per night or we wouldn't have a room. The owner or manager of Soho wasn't there, even though we arrived ten minutes before the 2:00 p.m. check-in time. We called the number Booking.com gave us. The person who answered said he'd check the reservation and call back in a minute, but he never did, and his phone was switched off afterward. We were a group of three and had booked five nights for the first week in HCM, plus another four nights for our final week there. The experience was so poor. Don't stay or book here. Zero stars. #HonestReview

Everything seemed fine after I booked, but then the hotel canceled my reservation without asking me. What's going on?

In the evenings there are food and drink vendors downstairs, and the District 4 food court is nearby, so delivery is quick and inexpensive. The apartment itself is clean and close to the city's entertainment area. The landlord is friendly and easygoing. I'd recommend it to my friends.
