Getting around was a hassle because the hotel is far from most places apart from the airport, so we ended up needing taxis or Grab for longer trips. The room was dirty and smelled bad, especially the bathroom, which had a sewer odor. I covered the floor drain to try to keep the smell down. The hotel needs a full refurbishment, and I wouldn't call it suitable even for locals or backpackers. Staff seemed unhappy, apart from one man at reception. We had come with friends who recommended the place, so we couldn't switch hotels. We were told to expect 300,000 dong, but had to pay 500,000 dong, which wasn't cheap as we'd been advised. It felt like the usual Vietnam practice of charging locals one price and overseas visitors the highest one.

For one night I paid 350k vnd, and the room was clean. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the airport, with decent restaurants around it. It's also far enough from the main streets to stay fairly quiet. Fine for the price.
