Spot On 662 Asiana Hotel

It’s across from the People's Police University and Ton Duc Thang University, in Phu My Hung, an area popular with Koreans. A few steps away, it looks like a scene from a Korean drama and feels like living in Korea. There’s any kind of Korean food you could want. The rooms are basic and cheap. I just needed somewhere to leave my luggage while I was out for the day, so I didn’t need anything fancy. Good value for backpackers or students coming for exams.

The location is convenient, on Le Van Luong street at the intersection with Nguyen Huu Tho, right by the metro station entrance. It’s a 5-minute walk to the Phu My Hung night market and Vivo City supermarket, and across from Ton Duc Thang University and the People's Police University, also just 5 minutes away. All the entertainment venues in the Korean area are within walking distance. This is an affordable, basic hotel for business trips, backpackers, and students staying during exams. It accepts multiple students sharing a room during exam periods. It’s not ideal for honeymooning couples. For more luxurious rooms, you’d need to look at other Phu My Hung hotels starting from 700k VND, or the Him Lam area about 1km away. This is the only affordable hotel in this location. You can’t expect 5-star service for just a few tens of thousands of dong, that’s very difficult. Tourism takes a discerning mindset. The hotel isn’t affiliated with any booking system. Most bookings are made directly at reception by calling a familiar phone number or by showing up in person. Those looking to rent should contact the hotel directly rather than use unknown websites, where they risk losing money. Hourly rates are 50,000 VND/hour, with a 20,000 VND surcharge for the second hour. A double room with two large beds is 300,000 VND/night with air conditioning, while a single room with one large bed is 250,000 VND/night. There’s self-managed parking for cars and motorbikes. No drugs or partying, as most guests are police officers and staff from the universities across the street. Given the room size, five or six family members can fit during exam season for 300,000 VND, which is very cheap. Renting by the month and redecorating yourself is another way to save. At this price, a nicer room would cost much more and be far from Phu My Hung.

None of it was worth it. 1 star! ABANDONING THE CHILD IN THE MARKET. NO RESPONSIBILITY for the BOOKING after the HOTEL received the DEPOSIT! BUSINESS WITHOUT ETHICS. EVERYONE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

They charged 300k, and it just wasn't worth the money. Felt like a scam.
