The front desk staff were terrible, rude and dishonest, and they nickel and dime you for everything. They even kept my US $19 (500,000 VND) because I lost the second cheap plastic key card, which I never asked for. A replacement might cost 10 cents to make. There are lots of other hotels, and many are better and cheaper, so do yourself a favor and don’t book here. Thailand is a far better country than Vietnam.

The rooms were clean and nice. The first floor cafeteria had a wide selection of drinks and local food, and stayed open until 2AM.

The free breakfast was great, and the staff were excellent. For what I paid, the room was nice, too. It’s centrally located, and I really enjoyed sitting on the front balcony with coffee, tea or fresh juice, watching people go by.

I stayed here to avoid dragnet after dinner with friends. The room was modern and generous in size, with a huge round bath and jacuzzi, a comfortable bed and a big flat screen with more channels than I could manage. The place felt calm overall, and the staff were friendly all the way from the front desk to the garage and kitchen. It’s family friendly, too. The rooftop pool is small but tranquil and very clean, with views of the river.

The room was bigger than what I’ve had at other hotels for the same rate. Cleanliness was mixed, though, since I noticed dirty marks on the walls. Breakfast didn’t offer many choices, so over my two week stay I only ate there two or three times. The laundry service was good but slow. The staff speak English. There’s also a nice uncle out front who looks after the bags and car parking.
