Avoid this place. It was dirty, loud, and felt unsafe, and the staff were unkind and no help at all. There are loads of better choices in HCM. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

The receptionist was kind and really accommodating, even helping me communicate with the travel agency about my tour. The other staff were friendly and easy to approach, and my experience was great overall. The studio was clean and spacious, with a balcony and a nice view of the Saigon river. The bed felt a little hard, though the linens were changed regularly. My one issue was street noise if your room faces the road. There’s double glazing, but I could still hear cars passing. It’s in district 1, facing the river, but away from the crowded areas. Cafes, restaurants, banks, parks, markets, and some tourist spots are walkable, and it’s easy to get around the city.

The price was decent, and there’s a hot shower, a kettle, a hot plate, and a reasonably good fridge. Kitchen utensils are pretty limited, though. A few cafes are close by, but it’s a long walk to the main district 1 area, so I needed Grab to get around. Street noise could be rough if you’re a light sleeper. The balcony is shared, so you’re also sharing whatever your neighbour gets up to. Unfortunately, the person next door talked at night and smoked. There’s no receptionist on weekends, and the caretaker only speaks Vietnamese, so you’ll need Google Translate.

For the price, these apartments are a real find. They’re in a fantastic area, and this is some of the best value accommodation I’ve come across so far. The staff are pretty nice as well.
