Thanh Lan Hotel

We've stayed here before, and they recognize us like friends. It's a little hotel that's fairly clean and quiet, with the usual air conditioning, fridge, and TV. The staff are friendly, and it's not very expensive. When we watched the Asia soccer cup finals together on a big screen outside the hotel, the owner, his family, staff, and neighbors were there too, sharing free beer and dried salted fish.

The area is nice and full of locals, and the room was comfortable and clean for the price. I stayed one night. The staff don't speak much English, but we managed. There was a thunderstorm overnight and a little water came in through the window, though not enough to bother me much.

The location is not bad, and it's easy to find food nearby. Staff speak Chinese and basic English. The room needs better upkeep, and the TV channels are poor.

Everything felt fresh and comfortable, and the place was super clean. The staff were really friendly too, and the service was good. I'd stay here again!
