Mold and spit stains on the wall, and the room was filthy. They told me there was no wifi in the room and that I'd have to use it in the lobby. I had no phone network either. This is not acceptable. Avoid this hotel!

A good nearby option for District 1, about 10 to 15mins away.

The room cost 600k VND per night and was old and dirty, with a terrible musty smell that hit me as soon as I entered the reception area. On top of that, I booked through Booking.com with 8% VAT included, but the hotel demanded another 8% to issue the invoice, so I ended up paying 16% when it was issued. The receptionist was extremely rude. They told me to get the invoice myself through Booking.com and challenged me when I said I'd report them to the police. After the argument about the invoice, I paid for one extra day so I could leave my belongings there, but the hotel sent someone to clean up immediately.

The staff were very helpful, and the price was great. We were traveling with children, so having a spacious, practical room worked well for us. It was clean too.
