The Rixx Lavish Apartment

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Our towels were dirty, and the sheets had stains and dead ants or bugs on them. It was obvious they hadn’t been cleaned or changed. The other room had a huge cockroach and ants as well. The whole place felt filthy and unpleasant, so we’ll be changing where we stay right away.

The rooftop pool has great views when the sky is clear, and the District 1 location is good. But the beds were hard, the balcony was a decent size, and the internet didn’t work. Drivers may get confused because the building goes by three different names.

We arrived at 6pm and ended up cancelling, then had to find somewhere else for the night. There were three of us and we’d booked the apartment for three nights, which the website said had a double bed and a single bed. When we got in, there was only one double bed. Getting into the room had already been difficult: the woman at the desk told us to contact the host for the room number, but the host was unhelpful on WhatsApp and kept saying she’d call us back without knowing the number. In the end, the guard showed us to the room. We contacted the host again about the missing bed and got the same promise of a call back. I wouldn’t stay here.

The apartment itself is good, but the host is very rude. They cancelled my booking when I arrived at the property. It’s a suburban area with limited taxi service, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here with family.
