The rooftop bar has a great view of the Ho Chi Minh City skyline, and the hotel has a lively, enjoyable feel. I didn’t get to try the basement club. My room was comfortable, with a Netflix-enabled TV and a clothes steamer. Breakfast was a highlight, with a nice mix of Korean and Vietnamese food, and excellent service. The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment I arrived. The Star Hotel in District 7 was a charming boutique hotel and a positive start to my time in Ho Chi Minh City. I’d recommend it as a stylish, comfortable base for exploring the city.
