I couldn't sleep well because the room had a strange, musty smell. The bathroom and the area around the bed were also not properly cleaned. When I told reception about the smell, the staff member responded in an annoyed, dismissive way. He was a short, slightly overweight man on the morning shift. If he reads this, please don't treat guests like that. You don't seem suited to working at reception, and I can't understand how someone in hospitality could have such a poor attitude toward guests. My time here was truly the worst, and I never want to return. Honestly, it felt more like a love hotel than a proper hotel.

The bed was so comfortable, and the sheets were the softest I can remember. We slept really well. The room was clean and quiet, and the hotel is in a good spot with plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. I don't get all the negative reviews. Sure, it's a love hotel, but it felt safe at night. There's no window, and the shower water wasn't very hot, but for a couple of days it's a good option.

The price issue was the worst part. The next day, they said the final cost was twice what I had booked on Booking.com, and the receptionist wouldn't give my passport back unless I paid the higher amount. It was very stressful and felt unfair. Staff didn't speak English, so we had to use Google Translate. I'd arrived from the airport around 22:00 after booking ahead, only to be told my room wasn't ready. They asked me to wait about an hour in another room, where I left my suitcase while going out for food. Later, they wouldn't take my card through Apple Pay, and the nearby exchange offices were already closed. Since it was around 23:30, I suggested they hold my passport overnight until I could get cash in the morning, and they agreed. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The air conditioning worked well and was quiet, and the price was low. But I wouldn't pay more for this hotel. The room was fairly clean, though the walls are so thin you can hear people moving around outside and in other rooms. The bed was soft but made a lot of noise when we moved. Our window faced a wall, which wasn't great.
