Thien Ma Hotel

The check-out mix-up was maddening. I'd paid 300k for the first room, but its air conditioner was broken, and when I switched rooms the receptionist didn't record it. In the morning, while I was rushing off to work, they stopped me to ask if I'd paid. There wasn't even a toothbrush in the room, and the receptionist seemed completely lost. Getting to that point was a hassle too. I was in a room on the 3rd floor, with no elevator, and had to go downstairs to replace the key after the air conditioner in the first room failed. The replacement room still didn't have working air conditioning, and it was messy and dirty, like it hadn't been cleaned. I couldn't get through to the hotline, so I kept going back and forth for a new room key. I stayed anyway since I'd already rented it. Never again!!

Room 202's exhaust fan cover fell on my head as soon as I opened the door. The receptionist handed me an air conditioner remote but not the two TV remotes. When I was leaving after check-out, he was fast asleep and wouldn't wake up. He'd already been clueless when I checked in, even though I'd booked in advance, and didn't know what to do with my ID card, so he made me bring it down from the room. Such a bad experience. I'll never come back. 0 stars.

The older staff were unfriendly, and they didn't provide a toothbrush. They also charged us for two hours even though we were there for less than an hour.

The room was very nice, and the staff were attentive and enthusiastic.
