Trip Apartment Saigon

The fridge and washing machine made the place good for a week-long stay. The bed was the big problem, though. It was so hard that I think the floor would have been more comfortable. I couldn't stay here again with a bed like that. Upgrade it and I'd come back.

I booked this Exclusive Infinity Pool property at the last minute, but the owner messaged at 12:35 PM while I was mid-flight with my three kids, demanding that I cancel because of an emergency. The emergency was two broken tiles. Apparently fixing a cosmetic floor issue mattered more than honoring a booking for a family arriving from overseas. When Booking.com tried to call and sort it out, he wouldn't answer. I had to scramble for another hotel at double the price during peak time, and we were left in the lurch at the last minute. Booking.com was the only saving grace. They understood what service means and helped find us an alternative. S Home Saigon showed zero communication, accountability, or empathy. Sending a critical cancellation while I'm in the air, ignoring customer service calls, and leaving a family with three children stranded in Vietnam is a disgrace. If you want a reliable host, stay somewhere else. If a minor DIY job is treated like a national crisis, this is the place for you. It's an absolute disgrace to Vietnamese hospitality.

Saigon Apartment - RiverGate Residence really impressed me. The apartment was comfortable and clean, and the service was excellent. Staff were professional and attentive. Everything went smoothly from check-in through check-out. It absolutely deserves five stars, and I'd highly recommend it.

The host contacted me just 1.5 hours before check-in and asked me to cancel the booking myself, pay directly outside the platform (booking.com), and add extra money on top of the original price. I was left without accommodation at the last minute in a foreign country. Avoid this place.
