Victory Saigon Hotel

Shoutout to the bartender, who was always so kind, and the rest of the staff were lovely too. I spent a week here across two different rooms. Both showers kept flooding, and the beds were uncomfortable. The worst part was being woken for five mornings in a row by renovation work in a room directly above or across from mine. Hammers and drills were so loud that noise cancelling couldn’t drown them out. I understand that renovations have to happen, but putting paying guests right beside a construction site that starts at 7 am is hard to understand. Insane, and just an awful experience.

A nice hotel with a historical background. The pool is a good one, 2.80 m deep. It’s near the War Remnants Museum and Independence Palace, and close to the Pasteur Street stop for airport bus 152.

The first room had no hot water, and the air conditioning in the second pulled cigarette smells in from the courtyard. It was gross. The staff were wonderful and quickly moved us to different rooms to address the issues. In the end, it’s a good price for a good location, with excellent customer service and adequate facilities.

We booked two rooms for three adults and three children, two aged 11 and one aged 5. Check-in on the evening of 19.02.2026 was fine. About 30 minutes later, a man at reception asked for a 200k VND surcharge for the 5-year-old, and I was happy to pay it. When we checked out on 21.02.2026, they asked for another 200k VND, saying the charge was per day. Nobody had told me it was a daily fee. What a scam from Victory hotel at 14 Vo Van Tan tphcm. We were in rooms 420 and 422.
