Vinhomes was built too quickly.

Anyone planning to stay at Vin should think again. The narrow road gets jammed every morning and afternoon with too many cars, and Vin buses going in and out make it worse. The most frustrating thing was my card suddenly expiring while I was staying there normally. I had paid in full, more than 100k a month, which isn't a small amount, but nobody gave me notice and the card was locked. When I went down to ask, I found out it needed renewal after three months, and then I had to wait 10 days for the renewal. Using the guest card every day costs extra too: 43k for two days and two nights, or 13k for one overnight stay. That's too much.

The problems started just before I was due to move into apartment 23.09 in building S10.03 at Vinhomes District 9. Van Hong from Gia Hao Land called late at night demanding the first month's rent, though the contract said it was due between the 1st and 5th of each month. When I pointed that out, Van Hong spoke arrogantly and insisted I pay immediately if I wanted to move in, even though I had already paid a deposit and made an agreement with the landlord, Ngoc Lien. Ngoc Lien then changed her position too, demanding rent before move-in, against the contract. I felt deceived and disrespected. Getting the move-in procedures done was difficult as well. I told Ngoc Lien about the move and asked her to confirm things with Vinhomes management, but she didn't answer. Vinhomes staff also struggled to reach her. On handover day, a Gia Hao Land representative inspected the apartment after I'd cleaned it thoroughly and still tried to find problems. They suggested the air conditioner might be broken without any technical expertise, then refused to call a technician when I asked for an inspection. After the handover, Ngoc Lien wouldn't return my deposit or answer my calls. I couldn't reach her for an hour, so I had to ask the authorities to intervene. Renting here was a terrible experience, with repeated attempts by the landlord and sales staff to make things difficult. Be careful if you deal with this landlord, and read the contract terms thoroughly.

For the past three months, we've reported the neighbors' pet house hundreds of times because of the noise, but management has done nothing and keeps brushing us off. There's barking and shouting day and night, with people and dogs taking turns making noise. The dogs bark until morning. In the morning, it starts up again, with people and dogs barking together in a constant barrage from 4 or 5 PM to 10 or 12 PM. No one gets any peace or rest. This painfully slow response is unacceptable.
