I only had 2 days to see each place on my Vietnam tour, so it was a short visit, but this is somewhere I’d recommend. The receptionist helped me a lot, and the driver was friendly. Thanks, guys. ❤🇻🇳

We got to check in early, and they recommended a nice restaurant nearby. The room was nice, and I really appreciated Anhouse & restaurant. The food there was very tasty, just 300meter away.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the AC was cold. We only wish we’d planned to stay longer. Sien at reception was so sweet and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we had a good time in Ninh Binh. She was there when we arrived late, helped us with bike rental and laundry, and was also around at breakfast.

This is about the Nov 9-11 booking. The customer service was horrible. They sold our room and lied about our booking, and we had to argue with them for a while before they found it. They didn’t apologize or offer any solution afterward, so we had to find another hotel. Avoid this hotel!

I meant to stay at Camellia hotel for one night, but ended up there for three. I would’ve stayed longer if my trip had allowed it. The staff were very friendly and knew a lot about local attractions and their prices. There are plenty of Vietnamese food places nearby, either within walking distance or a short scooter ride away. The modern rooms were spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds and a smart TV that had lots of channels, including English movie channels. Breakfast offered Vietnamese and some western choices, and the omelette was one of the better ones I’ve had at a hotel in SE Asia. When I’m back in Nihn Binh, I’ll return to the Camellia Hotel!
