Golden Bell Backpacker Hostel

Dong at the front desk was welcoming and really nice to us. The beer, water, and soft drink prices are fair. I'd recommend staying here if you're looking to save money and aren't expecting a lot from the accommodation.

We had a really nice one night stay. The women at the front desk were kind and welcoming, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. There are large lockers for valuables, and they rented us bikes that were cheaper and in better condition than any others we'd tried in Vietnam. Laundry was quick and inexpensive.

It's in a handy spot with local cafes and a market nearby, and the price was reasonable enough that I'd stay again. The bathroom was always clean, and the room came with clean white towels and toiletries. It was well equipped, with curtains that gave you a dark, private space. They also offer bikes, laundry, food, and bicycles. The homestay itself was very nice, though I found the women working there a little awkward when I asked for help, and I wished they'd been friendlier and more hospitable.

The owner's family was really kind, and they did our laundry. You can also get meals at the hostel since there's a kitchen, though we didn't have time to try the food. It smelled amazing. We spent one night there before moving on to Tam Coc, and the room had air conditioning, a fan, water, and a kettle. I definitely recommend the hostel.
