The room was roomy and smelled nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The neighborhood felt safe. It’s an easy walk to the Old street, though crossing the three-lane road on the way was a little scary. I’d stay here again on a future trip.

The service was awful. The homestay’s website gave no closing time, but when I got back late there was no doorbell, so I had to knock. I tried calling the number they provided and couldn’t reach anyone. At 11 p.m. I was left outside, unsure where to go. I also messaged the homestay asking for help, but it seemed like they didn’t care. When someone finally let me in, they scolded me and said I should come back earlier next time. A truly terrible experience.
